If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

It was good to get away for a week but nice to be back. I've composed a top ten list (top 9 actually) that may be good for a laugh. Feel free to add.
Rick
You know you may have AS when....
Your doctor asks to take your x-rays to the medical association "show and tell." You understand the point of Velcro footwear. Your sleep is interrupted by pain and your pain is interrupted by sleep. Dropping something on the floor means that you didn't really want it that badly after all. You think everyone should try LSD. The candy dish on your coffee table is full of Tylenol. Your local pharmacy sent you a Christmas card. You find yourself watching the Craftmatic Adjustable Bed advertisements with great interest. You have an inexplicable loathing towards gymnasts.

Steve,
I can recall going to a night clinic when I had the flu or something. The GP on duty was obviously just out of med school. When he found out I had AS it was almost like I made his day. He couldn't ask enough questions.

Rick, Welcome back!! I can totally relate to the gymnast thing. Is it just us? I remember saying to my husband once that watching someone do something made my joints hurt, skating, jumping of any kind, athletes.... He looked at me like I was crazy..................... maybe, but it does............... linda marabella

You find yourself wearing sandals year round - - even in New England. You have more pill bottles on the top of your fridge than your grandparents do. You get tired of explaining why you're limping/hunching over/leaning on a cane and hearing, "You're too young to have arthritis," and instead start telling people it's an old skydiving injury. Sorry, it's early in the morning, that's the best I can do Cheryl Dogs aren't threatened if you earn more than they do

Sometimes I feel like I'm my rheumy's personal science project, he doesn't have very many AS patients and I'm the only female in his roster. But he's been very effective in getting me on meds that the HMO normally wouldn't approve because they're only approved for RA, so I guess I don't mind being his lab rat Cheryl Dogs aren't threatened if you earn more than they do

I told my pharmacy last year my goal was to get OFF their Christmas card list! They said I am part of the family. I am certainly the part providing financial support!!!
