Hi! If I remember the stories correctly, I was right on time and average size - around 6 lbs. I'll have to dig out my baby book to find out for sure. - Helen

Nope not premature here. I was quite "overcooked". Late and evidently the biggest baby on the ward. Still the biggest baby most places I go, not physcially though. Very immature but nope not premature.

They laughed at my mother when she went to hospital.

Said, keep you in over night, go home tomorow and come back in 3 months. I was "born" the next day.
A "Blue" baby with attitude. Rather tall, very skinny and dis-mature (underdeveloped).

Not expected to live, went home Easter Sunday 3 months later and still kicking........

Been proving them wrong ever since....

I was 8 wks early and around 5 lbs. I am the only girl, I have three brothers. I am the second child in the birth order. I had good size babies though, and both my boy's were born to term. The oldest was late actually, by three wks. At 8lbs8oz and for the second son, 8lbs15ozs.

Blessings all

well i've been told over and over.. i apparently found it all too comfortable in the womb and didn't want to come out :-) I think I was eventually "induced" - probably by a shot of adrenaline or something?

cheers,
z

Well, the dr. thought I was a month early at first. My mom had a miscarage and found out the next month that she was preg. Dr. realized I was a twin and my twin was miscaried. I wasn't a month early after all. My first son was 4 days early and weighed in at 9.2. My second son was a month early and weighed in at 8.13. Thank God I didn't have to go another month because they told me that he would have been close to 11 pounds full term!! Had c-sections with both my boys.

Take care,

Wendy
