If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Well, I thought we only play you one more time and that is this Saturday. We will win it - that's for sure. Also, I had heard there is a good chance we will meet you in the first round ? I could kick myself because we had a chance at tickets for the first playoff game and passed on it. Now to the main part of your post. How old is your son ? Tell him from me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with Alfredsson. I think he is adorable. He really rubs you leaf fans the wrong way dosn't he. Lord, I hope he dosn't become one of you - that'll kill me. Then I'd have to really really hate the leafs. I'm in no way ready to throw the towel in. I believe the Sens are saving their efforts for the playoffs. Leafs are going down Maggie

One down, four to go. We play you Saturday and then again April 3. My son is 8 and he knows his hockey. He also knows a real NHL player from a figure skater.(Alfredsson? ) The sad fact is in the NHL palyoffs, defense wins, and that starts with the goalie. Should Belfour's back stay healthy, he's better than Lalime. (doesn't that mean lemon in French? Maybe it's lime, but close enough.) The only thing scaring me right now, and it has nothing to do with the opposition, is the Leafs ability to produce on the power play, and specialty units can mean the difference between winning and loosing. We've played the Sens four time so far and won three! And who can forget that four goal deficit we erased in the third period on Feb. 4 to win 5-4. At any rate, by the time the playoffs roll around, Alfredsson's hair will be soooo long that he won't be able to see! Just over a week to go. I can't wait!! Just a quick, off topic question, I was listening to The Fan 590 this morning and they had a guest on who thinks teams should be limited to three lines and the schedule should be cut back to 70 games. He felt this would get rid of the goons on the team, ie. Oliwa of the Flames who summer trains by going to a boxing gym, and this would greatly improve the quality of the games. It would also rid teams of these $1-2 million players who only see 5-6 mins. of ice time saving them $$. I think it's a wonderful idea. I find that a lot of games get bogged down by these fourth liners who should be in the AHL. Any thoughts? No one said life would be easy, just worth it.

That should read the Leafs INability to produce on the power play. No one said life would be easy, just worth it.

Toronto looked very good last night. Even Domi looked good.
And Detroit and Colorado game showed Detriot's awesome capabilities. And with Cujo not even playing.
Alfredson really could use a haircut or a new helmut. Those folks in Ottawa should chip in some money for him. It's too bad Ottawa will probably be out in the first round.
Take care, Murray

Well, tonights the night for NHL Ontario fans at least - Ottawa vs the Leafs.
I was at the game as the ACC around the end of January to see Ottawa get their butts kicked. My AS was absolutely brutal and I could barely walk with the pain. But, free tickets 15 seats behind the leafs bench made everything okay. We drove the three hours to Toronto and stayed overnight. The only drawback was going bra shopping at the Eaton Centre with my wife. Walking, walking, walking. Apparently, there is a rule that everytime we are in Toronto, we need to go bra shopping (and Chinatown). Thank God for Percocets.
The fans were chanting "Alfie, Alfie" as soon as he touched the puck. And that was the game Chara who is about 6'9" tossed the leaf player around like a ragdoll. During the warmups, Domi and Chara were chatting at centre ice - there was a height difference of about ten feet and they were all smiles.
tonight - Toronto 5 Ottawa 2
Of course, Detroit will smoke Colorado this afternoon on their quest for the cup. Beware of the Wings - they are the favorite to win the cup.
Have a good day.
Murray in Sarnia
FYI - those free tickets had a face value of $197.50 each. Ouch. But I could see Pat Quinns hair.

I like your thinking Murray. T.O. 5-2 over the Sens. I notice Maggie isn't saying much here, I guess she's nervous. How about a little wager on the battle of Ontario tonight? The loosing team's fans cheer for the other team on April 3? I don't think the Sens fans will go for it though. The price to go to an NHL game in Ontario is prohibitive to us common folk. Ever notice before the start of every period at a Leaf game about 2/3 of the platinum seats are EMPTY! All those suits sipping brandy while the real fans are up in the purple section, unable to read the names on the back of the jerseys, cheering as if their lives depended on it. They should put the corporate seats up in the purples and let the real fans watch from ice level. No one said life would be easy, just worth it.

Well, I guess everyone gets to keep cheering for their own team. No winners last night. It was a good game though. Rob Ray scored, go figure. Next thing you know Aki Berg will get a hat trick! That's two down with no losses for T.O. with three to go. That'll be six more points. GO! LEAFS GO! No one said life would be easy, just worth it.

Senators re-sign captain Daniel Alfredsson to five-year contract! Maggie, a good move by your team! Now maybe he can afford a haircut!

Hi Angus
Well, we agree on one thing anyway. The corel centre has the same problem - all the expensive seats are half empty, even when it's a sell out. The occupants of those seats are off in the bars or wherever - while the true fans are cheering their hearts out in the cheap sections. This allways ticks me off !!!!!!!!!!
