If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Maggie, your thread here has brought me to checking the standings in the paper every day. I am not cheering for anyone, barely aware of hockey since the whaler's left hartford...just thought that your sensationals ought to have some 'put 'em away' instinct. I am sure the leaf-people will cheer regardless of my input. btw, how do they play hockey in tampa or is it orlando? or san jose ??? all the best alohaben

Lori, If we had to be beaten...at least it was Greene that did us in. I like him as a player. However that will change quickly if he ever got himself traded to "Ottawa"

Ottawa councillors passed a light-hearted resolution Tuesday banning Toronto jerseys to encourage pride in their team. I can't believe I read this today....Maggie, did you have anything to do with this?????

Paul What a Joke that is. I think now all the Leaf fans are going to show up at the games wearing their jerseys just to spite the councillors and to make it known that they will NOT go away. But it did make me laugh when I heard about it. John

Hi Paul They arn't banning them - they are saying that anyone wearing a leaf jersey must make a donation to the food bank. I believe that Toronto is thinking of doing the same thing only with Sens fans Nope - nothing to do with me. If it was up to me, I'd like to make them do something much more embarrasing ( any ideas John ? ) I am a little ticked that while Ottawa council are making sweeping cut backs to staff and services, they think they have time to talk about the NHL. I wouldn't want to stop the leaf fans from coming - it's fun. I do get a little upset though by so many Ottawa residents who still support the leafs - what's up with those people ?? Maggie
