If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi guys, sorry for worrying you all, and thanks lori for passing on that i'm home. i guess i was really run down from being in pain for so long, cause my energy level is lower than my boots - 5 minutes at the puter and i'm exhausted. but all went well, and the pain is way less..a piece of the disc had broken off and was sitting on a nerve, so i was in surgery for 5 1/2 hours while they hunted around for all the bits. couldn't eat at all for a week from being intubated for so long, and now having sweats and chills constantly due i'm told because they flushed the raw nerves with prednisone at the beginning of the surgery, so i don't sleep well...hard to walk and painful to lie down because of the piece out of my hip for the bone graft...this too will pass. the good news is, my thumb no longer can be used to light candles, and the knives in the back have stopped. I'll be off work til after christmas, so you all will probably have lots of time to get sick of me again once i get enough energy to sit here again . Welcome back Laurie, Sounds like one big surgery. 5 1/2 hrs is a long time to be under. Make no wonder you are so tired. Rest and relax and when you are up to it pop in and say hi. Glad to hear it was a success and in no time you will be up to your old self. There is no drug stronger than a good attitude.

Hi Laurie,
Glad to have you back. It's been pretty quiet around here without you. I'm happy to hear that everything went well. We missed you!!!!

Yay! I'm so glad you have reappeared! I've been madly working on a huge research proposal day and night for the last week (and it isn't completed, despite being due 6 hours ago), but I've been popping in once or twice a day just to see if you were up and running again. I guess now I have no excuse to take an occassional 5 minute break. No, I think I'll keep checking on you anyway. Welcome back, I'm glad it went well! 'Erie :-)
