Hi Chris,
It seems the visiting nurse is already following through on her ideas. She's already accomplished a couple things she mentioned doing and she's only been gone for a couple hours. The world needs more people like her in it.
I was really surprised to see the post made from my family, but like I said, everyone around me at the hospital realized just how special the bond is that we share, and what a positive role you all play in my life. They never really looked at KickAS as consisting of real people, people who actually care... just a site that I visited now and then. Now after seeing with their own eyes what you all do for me and to me, they know how real you all are and they respect it.
Thanks again Chris for your support. Your next visit to an ASKicker is with me right?

No they didn't take away my sense of humor, but I think I may have left them with one...they'll be talking about it for awhile I'm sure
I believe with AS, or actually anything in this life for that matter, you have to have a sense of humor or life would be pretty darn sad.
Thank God everyone here has one or I probably would have been thrown out of here a long time ago, but then again, I probably would have left on my own if that was the case.

Over do It... Me... never!
Now that I have a person coming over everyday to help me, I won't have the chance to do that, but If I think hard enough, I'm sure I'll find other ways to manage it.

Hi Dan,
Yeah that ride was a little bumpy. My mom was worried that the fall may have torn the inside stitches, but I don't think so.
Those drugs were really good ones...matter of fact, your sig pic reminds me of myself when I was on them
They did send me home with some of them, but I think they effected me more there because they were given via IV. Now I undersand why there are so many people out there giving themselves shots of this stuff. I'll stick with swallowing the pills though. My hubby says he has his hands full enough as it is...apparently more than he can handle.

"There's no place like home" That's the truth! I'm happy being back with my pups and having them to cuddle with on my couch. I just found out that I could have had them with me at the hospital...wish I would have known this sooner. They would have been with me through the whole stay.
