Hi Linda I'm sad to hear not everything is going your way! Atleast the wheelchair will give you some freedom, My uncle would always say before he passed on with cancer was that 'I'm not here for a long time, but I'll make it a good time", All my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hi Linda,
Sorry to hear things are not improving as you had hoped. Of course you are in my prayers and thoughts. I hope the Hospice works out well for you. It is a good program and I know they have helped friends and relatives of mine in the past.
We are all hoping you beat this!

I haven't been with KickAS for very long, but atleast long enough that I've read your posts re: the kidney cancer.
You've done the right thing. You've listened to your heart and followed what you think is best for you. Let that give you a feeling of strength. You are in control over your destination and how you want to live out the rest of your life. This is a positive thing, as some people don't have that freedom.
Give your pain, fear, fatigue, and any other negative feelings to God. Just hand it over to him in prayer. That is what he asks from us. Give him the bad things, so that he has more room to grow in your heart. Try to be at peace inside, I know it's not easy, given the physical challenges you face daily, but try, please try. Don't let the cancer take everything. It may have your kidneys, but it can't take your heart and soul!!
Hospice is absolutely wonderful and you will get so much strength and support from them. I wish the best for you, and will keep you in my prayers. Keep in touch, when you can. We will all hold you closely in our hearts.

As we have always said here, it's the quality of life - -and some control over how that life is lived and how we deal with it - - that brings peace of mind and a bit more strength of body. I am so glad you are going to be getting that wheelchair, hopefully it will ease some of the fatigue as lying in bed only makes a person more tired feeling. I was hoping the trials would be right for you, but since they're not (and you are the best judge of that) you are a wise woman to go on to the next best thing, the hospice program. None of us know how long we will be here, always best to live just one day at a time. Wish I lived closer to you so could give you a few gentle hugs in person. Eric, You have always been my hero buddy. Please use the strength here whenever you need it. This is a great group to lean on. John, I promise you that I am not giving up. The angels can come on in anytime but I've got to fight this the way it's handed to me....... Love to hear that you are doing well tho...... Hi there Ray, I think we have some very good drs. who need people to do these things but I'm just not up to the task and I selfishly want a little quality time for me and my family. Trials push so hard.........I just can't do it right now. I am in the mood for that miracle tho  Love you too.... you are one of the good guys Ray, knew by your first post! love & peace linda
