Yup, still around, but just reading mostly. Thanks to all for the kind words and notes. Doing my best.

Cheryl, I was looking back at old posts -- recipes actually -- and I saw a picture of you, on a beach, same clothes, same tire tracks, same dogs, same hair, etc, but it's a YEAR AND A HALF AGO!!!!!! In the previous photo you and the dogs look a bit shorter (you know that distortion that can occur when we try to make a photo fit the 65 x 75 requirement?), but what a coinincidence -- if I didn't know better, I'd think you accidentally posted some old photos but marked them as March 2003.

EDIT: Just looked again at the "Pictures!" photo you posted, Cheryl, and this IS the exact same one -- silly me! I thought it was a coincidence! Not too observant, am I?

Yes, pretty weird, I think someone has been messing with my pictures! That's the only explanation because I didn't scan these pictures in, Michelle did, and then I uploaded them - - and the pictures are date stamped, yep, this year. So who took the trouble (and who would want to, for what motive?) to take a picture of mine and upload it into a very old posting - - and how on earth would I have been on a beach in the winter time in Massachusetts????? I thought everyone here was my friend but along with a lot of other things that have been going on here, this falls into the category of sabotage, someone trying to upset me, and I don't know why anyone would try to do this. It's mean spirited and it's cruel. And it's also dated at a time when you certainly weren't a member, so how could you "remember" me posting this picture - - does anyone else here remember this? Especially under my signature? - -a year ago???? I am upset, and I also detect a very big rat here, someone who took the time to fiddle with my pictures - - and someone else who took the time to go way back to see if I was - - what? - - losing my mind? Posting an old picture and pretending it was new? This is sad, this is dangerous, and this is very, very unfair. Given what's been going on lately at KA, this is just another example of pure meanness. Odd that you haven't posted in a while and then you post this. Could it be someone else here has helped to put you up to something?????

Just a guess here, but maybe it is a simple explanation. Maybe the picture name that this old post refer to has the same name as the new picture? And that the server overwrites the 'old' picture with the new one?
Computers are really stupid machines, and some mess on the server might have done this unintentionally.

I just checked, and in fact both pictures are called 'Cheryl.jpg'. So this is probably the reason. You can call them Cheryl1, Cheryl2 etc, or be more specific The Beach.jpg, Sunrise.jpg etc.

I was the one who scanned those pictures for Cheryl. I scanned them a few days ago. They are NOT pictures from a year ago but recent pictures taken in St. Augustine with her dogs and her special time with Rick.

If you were concerned, Patty, why not a PM asking me about it? Why public humiliation, as if I was crazy or something? How could (or would) I "mistakenly" post pictures of what to me was so very important? What's your agenda here? You leave KA, wipe out all your information, and then suddenly reappear to make snotty comments about me making a mistake about what was to me a very special and important time in my life, the anniversaryof my husband's death and how I chose to spend it, going to St. Augustine with a friend to celebrate his life. Now you've managed to taint that wonderful memory, and to what end? What were you trying to accomplish here? It was mean spirited and cruel, as I said if you had any "questions" about how recent the picture was, why not a PM? It would have been kinder and less public. Thank heavens Michelle is the one who scanned the pictures in, not me. I guess I could also have my friend Ann (who was with me) post here about our trip - - and what I was wearing - - or my mom, who knew I was going, but I think those of you here who are my friends will know what is going on in this situation, and for the rest of you, if you can't be supportive then why on earth are you here?????

Why so touchy? Because this was such a bitter sweet time in my life, pictures of how I spent the first anniversary of my much loved husband's death. To have someone post something to suggest I somehow "faked" it was beyond hurtful. If she had any concerns, why not a PM? As far as I'm concerned this was mean spirited, spiteful, and not in keeping with what KA is all about. Rick died a year ago and I received wonderful support. But some people here don't seem to know the definition any more. I "mistakenly" posted pictures from over a year ago? Well, two explanations if that were to be true, I have either lost my mind or was making up the whole trip, ie, lying. I stand by my words, this was a terrible thing to do to another KA member. And I suspect, absent any other explanation, that I have been deliberately and cruely sabotaged.
