I cut the stalks of asparagus into fourths, slice up (nice fat slices) 4 or 5 cloves of garlic, and saute the garlic and aparagus in olive oil quickly until it's tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper after cooking if you want. If you like parm, freshly grate some over the asparagus when serving. (Remember that the pre-grated and pre-shredded kinds have starch added to prevent caking, even those fancy kinds in the clear plastic tubs. So grate your own!)

All your recipes sound sooo good. Never dreamt I could be drooling over a NSD. I am going to try this asparagus recipe tonight. I love asparagus. I am also doing Salmon on ceasar salad. I actually look forward to every meal. I never looked forward to eating before. Hmmmmm interesting eh? Must have been my bodies way of saying "stop feeding me that food". I am having raisins and pineapples for snack and I can't wait!! Love Simone

Patty, Of course I like parm, geez. This is really a recipe I would never ever have found out myself. Asparagus and garlic what a strange combination, got to try it. Gerard
