Like already said, Lidoderm is only lidocaine. I've tried it on various parts of my body and about the only place it worked (as well as stayed put) was over the side of my knee where I was feeling some nerve pain off L4-5/L5/L5-S1 areas.
When my marvelous pain mgmt doc prescribed them, I was hoping they would make my feet feel better. Unfortunately, feet sweat and those patches slide around. Then I tried them over SI. Didn't work, but did stay put, sort of. Tried them on my wrists, but they didn't do much and they got in the way of work.
But they work for some people. Worth a try if your insurance covers them. It was the highest copay on mine.

Now I have what could be a lifetime supply. LOL.
