I hope the docs are watching your anemia, blood counts....ask them how often they are checking your counts and at what point would you need transfusion. If you are feeling sufficiently tired, it's time they consider the effects of the chemo/radiation vs the blood counts and not just say that it's the chemo causing the tiredness. If you could be a little less tired with a transfusion (and its attendant risks--you know it's not without risk), would you want to do it? Think about it. Chemo is a finite period of time and you will eventually recover your strength, but right now is where you are living. And big hugs to you, Michelle. Be strong!!
