Brad, I am so very happy for you. I remember when my dad had a lens transplant back in 1987. I saw him half a day after the surgery and although his eye was bright red from the surgery, his iris was vivid blue and I knew for the first time in almost ten years that he could see me clearly. It was revelatory for him, I think, given that he was blind in the other eye.
