As I discussed in my other thread, I finally had my cataract surgery on my left eye yesterday. I knew the surgery went well, and today I found out just how well. Had my follow-up appointment today, and turns out my vision is already 20-40!!!!!!! The eye looks terrific, he said, and as long as things continue to go well, it might improve to 20-30 or even 20-20.
I am so damn happy to have my vision back after nearly two years of steadily decreasing eyesight. For about the last 8-10 months, I was pretty much blind in that eye, and the doc warned me before the surgery that it was only 50-50 I would get *any* vision back after the surgery. Thus, I think you can all figure out why I am so ecstatic right now!!!
