Have any of your doctors who offered the cortisone injections said anything about effectiveness in future, or over time? I always thought that they are OK for a few times, but that you don't want to have more than 3-4. Has anyone else heard that? If true, anyone know the reason why the limit? (guess I can google that one!)
I remember getting one in my heel once for plantar fascitis, and it hurt like hell, was super tender for about 2 days, then gave some relief.
Hope it gives you relief--especially if you are going for a visit.
