They don't make enough booze for me should I ever start up again. For me, it was not only a great analgesic, anxyolytic and sedative, it was a great solvent: it dissolved my marriage, my friendships, my jobs, my self-esteem...Jan 20, 1981, it took my life for 7 minutes or so when I arrested during a withdrawal seizure.

You're better off with MMJ if you can stand the side effects. It'll kill you slower, too.

I can't stand those side effects, either; I can't stand, in fact, to have my sensorium clouded in any way. My Doc says it has something to do with the paranoid hyperalertness/awareness that goes with PTSD.

I thnik she might be right.

I think it was Hunter Thompson who said, "Reality is for those who can't handle serious drugs..."
