when on Sunday I became light sensitive, it had me worried that the pain that I'd been feeling in my eye during the week might be iritis. So I didn't want to wait until Monday and get an appointment, seemed too risky considering what happened the first time. So we decided to call the same retina specialist who had given me the injection, dialed through to the emergency care, and luckily got him as he was returning from his vacation. He remembered me from before, even though it had been in 2003, and agreed to meet us at his office at 9PM.

He saw my very red eye, examined it with the slit-scan, and pronounced it as iritis, gave me the pred-forte drops, and so we caught it early on this time!
