So glad your surgery was a sucess, but sorry to hear your AS pains are worse. As Lon said, it could just be down to being more active now the tendons are better.

I don't have AS, but can really relate to wanting to feel normal! Have had various health problems since an early age, and envy people who only see their Dr once a year! I sometimes wonder how it would feel like to get through a day without symptoms and fatigue, being able to get up and go as soon as the alarm goes off, not having to take various meds every day, and in my case also take insulin shots 4 times a day Have had type 1 diabetes since I was 5, so virtually all of my life, and it doesn't really bother me now, but other people seem to make such a big thing of having to inject 4 times a day! To me, it is like brushing your teeth, just something you do every day

The thing I really hate is that "healthy" friends think I am a hypochondriac, and don't understand that I am more prone to infections and suffer worse from them due to the diabetes. They will come into work every day when they have a cold, and I need to have three days off work to recover! They think I give in too easily; just wish they knew what I went through

Any way, keep up the good healing work, and I hope your AS pains settle down soon

Emma.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you! (Anon)
