I'm sure you're feeling great pain right now Steve. I've thought about what you just wrote before and realized that the population of my town here is smaller than the amount of people who worked in the twin towers. I wondered what it would be like to have our whole town wiped right out. What a thought of horror. I've shead a many a tears since tuesday.
Tuesday morning, I was going to the hospital where I work to get a lung x-ray and decided to go have a coffee with the guys on their break. When I got to the bottom of the stairs of our coffee room, I could hear the TV. I have to mention that when we take our breasks, we never watch TV because we like to tease eachother and talk about our wives.... A few of the guys had tears in their eyes. Trust me, some of these guys are the macho type and at this time in our lives, man or not, it really hurt us all. There's so much we wish we could do. I've asked the guys to donate money to the Canadian Red Cross Society which is collecting for the US. I can only understand that you are living the front line in all this but if your pain is greater than mine, it must really hurt because it really hurts me.
Take care my friend and once again, take care of your family.
