Wow - Doc Inman really rocks!!!! Loved to hear your appt was 45 minutes, too.
3 Cheers for the fabulous and dedicated Rheumatologists out there!!!
I am so darned happy for you, Kat! Now, if you pick Remicade then maybe we can get on the same schedule at the clinic. Wouldn't that be the weirdest thing? Only kidding of course - pick whichever you feel is better suited for you. Curious to know if he suggested a preference between the two biologics, and if so, for what reason(s)? If you do end up on Remicade - do you know if your infusions will be at St. Mikes? Oh man - I have soooo many questions!
Dr. Stone said the same about ignoring ESR and CRP as irrelevant if not elevated. Facts are facts.
I'm currently on a low dose of Remicade at 3mg/kg of body weight (thanks to Dr. Stein ) and experiencing great results. I do not believe I could feel better than I do, given more. So if this clinical trial is offered, I can't think of any reason not to jump in on it. Knowing that someone is going to bat for you is such an awesome feeling, eh.
Enjoy the happy tears, Kat.
And see ya soon... in the Biologics Forum! mig
