# Fucose -
* diet: Fucose is readily found in several medicinal mushrooms, such seaweeds as kelp (240,000 ppm) and wakame, and beer yeast.


# Galactose -
* diet: fruits, Cabbage (4,400), Broccoli ( 2,700), Leeks (6,600), Onions (4,500), Plums ( 2,600), Apples (800), etc... (1)

# N-acetylgalactosamine -
* diet: Chondroitin sulfate, Bovine and Shark cartilages


# N-acetylglucosamine -
* diet: Glucosamine sulfate (best source), Shiitake mushrooms, Bovine and Shark cartilage
"Glucosamine is a naturally occurring amino sugar synthesized in the body from L-glutamine and glucose" (5). Glutamine is found in aloe in huge amounts, and in lesser amounts in dates, oranges, and pineapple (3).


# N-acetylneuraminic acid -
* diet: Hen’s egg, Whey protein isolate or concentrate (not the powder)


# Xylose -
* diet: Guava, Pears, Blackberries, Loganberries, Raspberries, Aloe Vera gel, Kelp, Echinacea, Boswellia, Psyllium, Broccoli, Spinach, Eggplant, Peas, Green Beans, Okra, Cabbage, Corn, Carob.(1)
