Thanks for thinking of me and passing on the info. I have however looked into some of those ramps you were speaking about and I was shocked to see how expensive they are. It's aweful how they can charge such outragious prices for these thing when they know people need them, but I guess that's the reason they do. I have been watching in the classifieds for one though, no luck yet. I did get some good news today though. The guy who will be building the ramp isn't charging me. He said he remembers when his wife became disabled and so many people were nice enough to help them, so this is his way to give back what they were given. I thought was so nice of him.
I've met a lot of nice people in my life, but I have to say, in the last few weeks I have met some of the nicest, caring people ever. They have been so helpful and so sweet.
I just had an idea...maybe I could rent one of those portable ramps until mine is done. Never thought of that. Maybe that will be the cheap way out of it. Thanks for the idea!
