I have a sealy pillow top. But, I bought a memory foam topper from Bed Bath & Beyond and put that on top and it is incredible! I bought the 3" memory foam topper, not viscous material... there is a difference. And, when the topper wheres' down in several years, its cost effective to replace just that and not the whole mattress. (with the BB&B coupon a queen size was $250).

Also, the same store sells a heated mattress pad which has 2 control switches to both sides of the bed can be controlled separately. It goes on top of the memory foam topper, below my sheets!

Hope this helps. (FYI my sealy posturpedic is 'firm' so it still offers some support, but with the memory foam topper it is just great!
