If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Zark, I feel that this was the wrong forum to present such information, unless you preface it by shaking a feathered rattle and say that it was told to you by a 300-year-old-Tibetan, psychic, UFO abductee. Besides, you know how unreliable Scientific American is! Best regards, jcwinnie

Dear Zark: This is the only forum that some people actually read, so you are certainly welcome to post anything here that is relevant. To encourage others in the main forum to join us here in the winner's circle, you might post over there that you have found some interesting research, and it is on the NSD Forum; if they are interested--they will come. Maybe those now tired of waiting for the magic bullet will stay and contribute. No matter how arcane, some little factoid will one day fall in place and we will have a useful breakthrough--it could be five years, but maybe sooner if we can see all the right bits and pieces. Your postings have been informative, interesting, and up-to-date, whether directly affecting our regimen or not. Thank You, for being a key member of this forum, John

“How could you make me eat soap?” ‘What? Don’t you like it?’ “It’s disgusting. Have you ever eaten soap?” I asked, my mouth spuming foam. ‘Oh yes,’ murmured the Master dreamily, ‘I’ve eaten soap many many times.’ . . . Five minutes slipped by as I drifted in and out of consciousness. The Master probed beneath my tongue with the glass thermometer, like a stoker attending the firehole. ‘Bingo! You’re almost up to a hundred and four. Well done! This is impressive.’ . . . “Feroze,” said Rublu, “I hope you haven’t been mistreating your pupils again. You should know better.” The Master raised one finger in the air, preparing to defend the accusation. ‘Well,’ he said stolidly, ‘perhaps I did prescribe a little more soap than I should have. But then how are we to breach the boundaries of science if we do not test them?’ |

typical modern-western research: high-tech answers to stupid questions
Here's another stupid one for you Arjan......
[[[Researchers in Britain have identified a dominant epitope of the A-gliadin protein of wheat that is linked to the cause of celiac disease. The findings could eventually influence the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. With the new information "Wheat could be genetically engineered to be non-toxic for celiacs," according to Dr. Robert P. Anderson]]]

Seriously i am truly worried about GM food. More and more allergies, sensitivities and auto-immunities will occur and we will not be able to trust a particular food anymore. Looks like i'll have to go back to growing my own of everything
