If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Well Kerry, it's a looooooooooooooooooooong time after my Thanksgiving, so I figured I was really in the clear I'm not one for all the commercial hype either. I see Christmas much as I see birthdays. Just an opportunity to spoil those you love. Oh! Almost caught myself wishing you a Merry Christmas, but I'll wait for a couple more weeks, deal? Jeanna

Hey Oak. I'm glad you loved Santa's letter, but I'm sorry that you feel sad about Christmas. As jolly and fun as Christmas is for some, it definitely can be a difficult time for others, and I certainly didnt mean to make you feel badly. I hope you find some specialness in Christmas this year. The look on your granddaughters face when they wake up to the magic on Christmas morning might be a place to start. Who knows, Santa might even leave them a letter. Dont suppose you could lend him a green pen? Love, Jeanna

Yes Jeanna, a very special letter.
I remember when you shared this with us before and I remember all the personal memories it brought back to me. My Mom and Dad always left a note for my brothers and I, similar to the one left by your Dad, oops, Santa.
I can remember the first year when I suspected that my parents were the ones leaving all the presents and not some fat little guy with a white beard. But, I had to be sure it was them, not a good idea to say anything to them and risk stopping the tradition.
So I specially marked a couple of carrots that we left out for the reindeer and the next morning, checked out the vegetables in the fridge. Yup, there were the marked carrots, back in the vegetable drawer and not one reindeer toothmark on them.
Thanks for letting me re-visit the memories, the best part about Christmas.
George

Wow! Disowned Christmas huh? It definitely can be stressful, there's no denying that. Hope you find some way to make it more enjoyable. Ever tried a Pot Luck Christmas? Maybe just candles in the window instead of the plethora of lights? Me neither, but they're so crazy, they just might work Good luck. Jeanna

Hopefully your Mom explained to you that Santa was behind schedule, and left the responsibility with her to deliver the presents to the whole block! Phew! Was she ever tired after delivering to all those houses .... sadly she just wasnt as effecient as old St. Nick, and you caught her with the last of her Santa-delegated duties. Quite a woman that Mom of yours. Santa was sure thankful for her help. It meant he got to Tokyo on time Jeanna

You might have noticed the date there. December 1991, I was in twelfth grade . (OK, OK, Vern is 7 years younger than me, alright?) You're mom sounds wonderful. Santa still leaves present and my Mom and Dad's house too. Guess he doesnt update his address book all that frequently. Love, Jeanna

Hey! My dad not only ate the cookies and drank the milk, but he wore giant boots and would step into the fireplace ashes and then walk around the living room leaving footprints!!
Why, you ask, did I believe long after some other kids??
