I have to agree with Jenna, private should remain private. I looked back over Cody's posts and saw nothing out of the way. Sure the post he made was stupid but it shouldn't have instigated a "lynching". Where are the guidelines about banning and language?

I have the same misgivings about banning Cody, and I do not like anybody being banned, however, he was not banished for his sophomoric humor or surly retorts, but for something he sent in private--to several members. Paul has offered to enlighten us, on an individual basis, as to what he received and I'm so sure that if I saw the material, I would agree with the collective decision, that I'm not even going to ask for it (obviously, this PM cannot be posted, but there is no proscription against sharing PMs via private methods). This forum should not really be used as a means to flame someone with impunity; we have a purpose that is much more important than individual egos and personalities.

There are no real guidelines about banning users--it is such a rare measure that should never have to be instigated. Use of kickas is a privilege and just like with any other, there are implied obligations. The rules for language are totally subjective and arbitrary and we may seem to over react at times, but in order to keep this site as uncensored (some places take days to post--after your entry has been reviewed) as it is, we have to use language and context that we would not hesitate having our own child of about 9 years old read. That precludes almost all jokes that are really funny...

If anybody wants to become an administrator, I'm sure that the rest of us would not mind the extra help, and for those who wish to help establish guidelines, we welcome your input.

Who do you think you are assuming who a person is. THAT is my HUSBAND you are calling gay and I can tell you that this is not the case - so his profile is CORRECT (he's more man than you probably could handle). All he was doing was trying to be considerate IN CASE there are gay people on the site and was trying to be nice. I've seen all the childish posts and very VULGAR PM's from Cody and if anyone is at fault here it is him. Answer one question which is what started this whole thing - why did he turn a helpful post into a sexual one. If that is all he can do there are websites for that and he can fulfill all the fantasies he has there.

NOW I ASK ALL OF YOU TO PLEASE STOP THIS NONSENSE BEFORE REPUTATIONS START GETTING DESTROYED. CODY BEING BANNED WAS THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE ESPECIALLY IF YOU GO BACK AND SEE HE'S DONE THIS BEFORE!

Also coming in as Anonymous doesn't say much for you anyway - fess up if you want to bash people. Really ticked off and would like this to stop.

With all due respect John, I think Paul has caused enough trouble. It was he, by his own words, that stated he sent Cody a privite message that was so bad he didn't want to share it with others and then he went on to invite others to do the same. He then wants to share a privite message that Cody sent him in reply to his. I don't care what was said in PRIVITE. I can see what was said in public. Cody said he was leaving KickAs anyway so why the public announcement banning him. Everything is very clear to me. One last thing, I and others have stated that we have gone back and read Cody's posts and found them to be alright. Maybe it was his views that some did not agree with, but didn't he have a right to express his opinion. Jenna

Mischeerful---Cody was not the first person to turn the post into a sexual one, another person did it before him but nothing was said to her. Nothing should have been said either because she was making a joke. The issue is a double standard where some are attacked and others are left alone. you seem very keen to come and defend Cody for his behaviour, for which you know nothing. Go and read my PM to him. It is in the 'thread ' of mine marked Putting this into perspective, and let me know if you think what I said was so bad. I never said anything of the sort about sending Cody a PM which was at all abusive, so get your facts straight first.
You then have the gaul to accuse Twigglet of saying something she never said. So please apologise to her as soon as you can. It was someone else who said those words and that person has actually apologised for the remarks she made about sex. So get your facts right.
