Hi. I've been researching Helminithic therapy, and finally found three (!) success stories regarding Hookworm infestation and AS.

1) http://pamplinmedia.com/pt/9-news/302838-180108-hooked-on-hookworms-and-other-parasites

2) “I have ankylosing spondylitis, diagnosed approx 20 years ago. After the initial dosing (25 NA approx 8 months ago) I slowly began to see the benefits after about 2 months. For me, these were a reduction in morning pain, reduced severity of plantar fascitis symptoms, slight decrease in fatigue, and a decrease in oxycontin dosing at the same time. This slight improvement gave me the hope. Now, three months after my second dose, I'm really seeing the benefits and am WAY healthier than I have been for many, many years. My energy levels have improved (not terrific, but MUCH better), pain has greatly receded, now coming on much later in the day, and some days, not that bad at all, morning stiffness is so improved I nearly have to slap myself some days to believe I'm not dreaming, my night-times are no longer plagued by pain-induced insomnia, plantar fascitis pain is minimal, and my mood is far more stable… Over this time I have again reduced my oxycontin intake (and for the first time in 5 years, can imagine a time in the next couple of months when I may even be free of it!) … I am so well, I am doing a good amount of yoga again, and I think the improvements can be directly attributed to my little friends.”

3) “My husband was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis 2.5 years ago after more than a decade of misdiagnoses. 1.5 years ago he took 20 hookworm and has since taken 2 more doses (each about 6 months apart, for a total of 75-80 worms). After the initial dose, he began noticing improvement in his symptoms after 6-8 months. After a year, his symptoms were completely gone with the disease seemingly in remission. It has been truly life changing for us as he was a long time professional snowboarder and the disease was completely robbing him of this important part of his life... not to mention the toll chronic pain can take on your mental health. A year ago, he could hardly walk from the bed to the bathroom some days, and now he is active, mobile, and snowboarding pain free for the first time in many years.”

I'm very short on cash, but if anyone out there is sitting on cash and willing to send me some I will take the worms and report the result.

The company wormswell.com are affordable and have good reputation. Looking at 1-3 doses and about 12 months of evaluation time. Each dose is 200 dollars.

So basically, I'm willing to be the guinea pig and I will make sure to report on the progress or lack thereof.

Hi Mooncutter,

It looks really promising. If Cosentyx doesn't work I am pretty down to give it a try as well. I think the healthy ND infecting himself is a but much but I know very little about it so who am I to judge. Please keep us posted feeling them burrow into your flesh is kind of daunting but this disease is worse. How many are you starting with. What do you think of doing fecal implants? What's cost of fecal implants and are there multiple ways of doing them? And are they helping people with AS ?

Wow, please keep us posted as to your progress. I've traveled all over Peru and managed to avoid various kinds of parasites while hiking the trails and mountains of the Andes and eating the local food and drinking from mountain streams, but this is an interesting approach. I've always thought that our overly-sanitized Western existence might open us up to new problems that evolution had protected us from for eons.

Best of luck to you.

Yes, I need your blood....(sorry too much TVD and Originals in my head)

I am trying to measure levels of inflammation(CRP) in the blood via standard electrical tools...

I need samples of blood from different donors for reference...

Currently using my family as my lab rats for my healthy reference samples...and they not too happy about it....

I have actually done quite a bit of research. Anyone interested in Mark Davis SHOULD listen to this:

Mard Davis Podcast http://chrisryanphd.com/tangentially-speaking/2015/11/13/153-mark-davis-fecal-transplant

There was a delay in the shipment. My shipment will arrive mid next week, in about a week from now. The starting dose is 25.

I'm greatly for fecal transplants, it helps most people that do them, but I have no money and convincing a doctor is hard. There is DIY but that is quite an operation too.

I will keep you updated on the progress. Most people experience the first marked improvement during month 3-6,so it's a long process.
