Three months into the hospice dance and we are all tired, but it's so worth it! I so appreciate your posts. I read every one several times and think about all of you out in the world keeping moving.  I'm still swimming 4-5 days a week for 45 minutes or so. Love and appreciation to everyone  Go TEAM

40 minutes in the current at the indoor pool
1/2 hr with lil' NIkki walking Lola May. I enjoyed both.
I also wrestled with Lil' Nikke for 20 minutes painful to the knees, but oh so fun!

Yesterday I went skiing. I was coming down a steep run, and it was icy. I fell down. It was not a hard fall. Then I started to slide down the mountain head first. I was thinking I have got to get my skis in front of me so that I can stop. I finally got my skis in front. The skis dug into the ice. Instead of stopping it spun me around so my head was in front again. I continued on my journey down the mountain head first. I put my arms out front because near the bottom there was a sign that said "Slow". I thought I might hit it. Luckily I missed the sign, but didn't stop till I was at the bottom of the run. It was a good day on the slopes.
This morning I ran 3 miles. Steve, I think Lon broke into your account and entertained us with his story of his day on the slopes! Thanks for the smiles; glad you got to the bottom in one piece, even if it was in Lon style!  Finally today, both warm (low 50s) and sunny  walked 1.5 miles, 30 minutes.

Sue: It would be a fun time to have an AS ski party with Lon. We would all have stories to tell. We went and watched the biggest liar contest here. That was entertaining.

Hi Team!  I ride my trike WAY too far today and now I'm in bed with ice packs. Do I regret it? No!  With my mother-in-law holding on to life in hospice, each little spring blossom had so much more vibrance this year.  It's as if she's hanging out until every single child, grand, and great gets a chance to say goodbye in person. Birth & death are so humbling. I hope everyone is having a great spring/autumn wherever you are! Go team!
