Weather not brilliant but managed two mountain walks 10 miles each 3,000+ feet and snow yippee not seen any yet this year to speak of. I would post a picture of the view from the first one (in the clouds the second walk) if I could but last time I tried as per instructions using dropbox and it didn't work.
Two contrasting days one crampons needed the other soft snow. Pulled various muscles one just below my shoulder blade and one in my shoulder possibly from hauling up a heavy rucksack. Also one in my chest maybe from heavy breathing
Today went swimming first thing 30 lengths AND walked the hill at lunchtime

Yesterdays run 3.1 miles (5K). Just about a mile into the run I stumbled, and thought I was going down. After some fancy footwork I was able to stay on my feet. It did scare me.
while on our trip...I forgot to take one pill..so my body filled with fluid, my lungs and lower legs became like logs...I am waiting for the prescription to get filled.
Lin is going to start filling my pill boxes... my son is moving today..so that will be my exercise.

@Orch stumbling is one of the things that worries me when we are in the mountains. Glad you didn't fall.
I had what could have been a very serious trip a few years ago and was lucky I didn't injure myself as I didn't get my hands out in time to catch myself coming down a steep rocky slope.
@Lon glad you are beginning to feel better.
Lots of walking last week 30mins at least every day and swimming yesterday.

@Grumpyally Stay up right. Last year I fell while running, and broke my shoulder. They had to pin it back together. My problem is with the MS my brain sends the signal for the leg to move, but the leg does not get the message.
Grumpy - Steve- I still have a lot of swelling in my legs.
but I am better. we are watching the kids, so I will not be at the river. If it warms up I want to take them for a walk outside.
Orch- we know that you have had to push yourself to stay fit. Be careful, I find that I have as much trouble around the house as any where. If I walk in a straight line, I can get a work o9ut.
Last night one of the guys I run with said he would not be running today because he had to be to work early. The weather forecast was predicting rain all night. I said if it is raining I will not be running either. The alarm went off at 5:20. I looked outside to see if it was raining. Dang it was no longer raining, so I had to go running. I went to the meeting spot to start our run. Three of us go running together. One was not coming so I was waiting for the other guy. He never showed. I thought I could go back home, and go back to bed. I am already in my running clothes, it is not raining I might as well go running. I ran 3.2 miles.
Thank you all so much for continuing to post your movement stats here. It makes me feel like I'm not the only one in the world dealing with this whole chronic pain & disease process deal. And also not alone in being stubborn enough to keep moving regardless!
But hey, what about this idea of doctors offering us Palliative Care ? I came across this idea while doing some research into my mother-in-law's hospice vs. traditional health care choice. She is MUCH better now that she's comfy.
Maybe instead of pain specialists, we should be seeking out palliative specialists. And while I'm thinking of palliative care, have you seen THESE ?!?! I just bought the hand mitt and it's absolute heaven!
I'm also intrigued by Wellness Science as it applies to chronic diseases.
What do you all think?
And for my dance video this week, not only is this awesome and funny ~~~ but I can relate to some of the more awkward moves!
