CoatT-
thanks for the web site info.
Before my first back surgery, the doctor used that phrase. I had forgotten about it. I was taking twice as much valium as a man who had broken his back in a logging accident.
I prefer to think ( and this topic could / should end up in the spiritual context ). that I have grown into most things that I now embrace. although my Dad bought a small farm and taught us how to work the land and feed the animals.
Choosing to love and forgive; learning from the good and the bad is definitely life choices. Yes, I also learn from others just like you.
I will send a personal message (PM) on the reading.
I talk about many more things than I really get to do. but, LW, I do them if $ money, health and wife allow!

You guys are really making me think this morning! thank you

Oh, Lon. reading your post always makes me feel the warmth and love in your hunting lodge. The brilliance in your post, the feelings posted along with it. All capture my being and sing to it. MS is a vile animal of a different sort. I just started Quinine for the leg cramping. You will make your Big Horn trip, too. You have the needed strength and yearning for it.

Magician-
well, well, nice to chat with you again!

And how are things with you?

Melting a bit today and no snow- how very nice...

I do have some leg cramps- more like Charlie horse pain when I am in the wrong position. Does Quinine help- what form?

It is Quinine, 200 mg. A capsule each day. Today is the first day so not sure how it is gonna hold up as it is just one day! lol

Filled my LDN script. I have heard it works wonders for MS patients so really looking forward to feeling its magic.

Just love reading your posts. They are so full of knowledge, you know? smile

Lon, appreciated reading this as I'm currently on ice recuping from 2 shots in the back (nerve blocks)...yes, the "harsh tutor." I've been knocked down so many times by this disease but patience IS a virtue well learned.

Your brain may be fuzzy but you've just proved you can write a novel so we expect more profound thoughts from you now! At least weekly OK?

One question though....who is little Arthur??????

Hi Lon:
Your plan for a 3 day Harley ride in the late Spring would be an excellent photo opportunity for you to post a photo of you on your Harley. Preferably a "before" photo of the 3 day Harley ride!

Greetings from OK Lon.

I loved your post. You have a lot of wisdom to share. You and Lynn have a very special blessing. We are truly blessed also. 53 years for us. We are both rather miserable today with severe RA flares. It doesn't usually happen for both of us at the same time. Snuggling on the couch does help.

Hello to your special gift, Lynn. Aren't grandchildren wonderful. I felt the same way about wanting to see how ours turned out. I am thrilled with the people they are and the people they have chosen to spend their lives with. Now we have a darling great grandbaby and selfishly now I want to be here to see how he turns out. He has a wonderful Mom and Dad who are obviously going to do a great job raising him.

Agape,
Joyce

Magician= thanks for the info

I may be having more trouble with what causes dementia, than I am with actual MS.

I enjoy reading what others are saying and doing too!

snow= little arhtur is of course one of the arthritis brothers... my blood tests show arthritic elevation some of the time, yet I am very swollen some days.

I am sorry about your need for nerve blocks. they did help me. the ones in my neck. shoulder and head ( yes head) helped with the headache.

Please take care...
