If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

What I do is start on my left side and then move to my right after I wake up after a few hours. One more try on my left and if that doesn't work I go to my recliner and try there. I think a really hot shower is a great thing just before sleep.

If I take a shower before bed, I'll be awake for hours. LOL. I get up and get into the shower for waking up. I do switch sides before I fall asleep. Otherwise get pretty stiff. Glad you have a plan, Timo. This morning, I was back awakening at 7am. Boo. I just HAD to talk about the 'relief'. Jinxed it. Possi, he's doing okay. Probably not great, though he doesn't tell me that part, since he watches tv an awful lot on most days. Wishing he felt better. Glad Floyd is feeling better on the Arava. Wonder if that works very well for PsA? Hubby likely won't get to use a biologic OR MTX due to his CHF and lung problems. And he bunged up his shoulder. He said he'd make an appt with his surgeon but I don't think he has. I'd like to make him an appt with a GI doc to see why he has such horrible reflux. He throws up most nights after he's gone to bed for a while. He started Nexium a couple of months ago, but it's not helping any. Stupid purple pill. My job is driving me nuts currently. We started using new instruments and didn't get much training beyond how to order stuff (not much different than the old ones) and which tests go on which instrument (chart on the front). But they have middleware, computer system that goes in between the instrument's computer and the lab/hospital computer system. Formerly, there was nothing in the middle. Now we have to learn the new instruments AND the middleware (Remisol--sounds like a cleanser of some sort!) All without any meaningful training. Went in at 2pm today, worked solid till 6pm, when I went to the potty, then ate 5 M&Ms--15 minutes total time out. Then worked solid till 10:30pm and then went to eat my dinner and clocked out at 11pm. Emailed the manager that this just isn't going to work, though I understand it's still a new situation and it's very fluid right now....remodel is driving us all nuts. I keep thinking, 'it's all going to be fixed sometime.' But that's another whine....sorry. If I survive this, maybe it will all be okay when it's done.

I am so sorry that work is stressful right now. Stress is not good for anyone or any thing.
You know we deal with COPD also. He had a really bad flare when he was taking the MTX. Cannot take that any more because of his lungs. So far, so good with the Arava. It has helped his pain and he just feels better in general and is much more active. He is really glad he decided to try it and so am I. It is considered one of the "lesser" drugs according to the dr. He is not willing to try any of the "big" drugs after all of the problems I had.
I am waking up about 3:30 in a lot of pain. I am able to go to sleep pretty quick but the meds all wear off about that time. I don't do well with the Zanaflex. Even 1/4 of the pill makes my bp drop enough to make me lightheaded. It dropped to 90/50 with the last pill and I decided that was all. Zanaflex really does help with the pain and sleep. I hate it I don't tolerate it.
I hope you have a good week and that things settle down at work.
Eat more than M&M's!! Take care of yourself. :o)
Hugs.

I thought I had it licked yesterday. I went out and walked around for hours while doing some shopping and I didn't have a nap all day. Good night's rest coming, yahoo. Well, at 4 o'clock am I'd tried everything and still was awake and had run out of ideas. It's 9.00 am and I'm beat already but I'm seeing the doc in an hour so I hope he can help out somehow. Have no idea how I'm going to stay awake all day.....

Could always go shopping again. Hope you got enough sleep this night. Went to my mom's yesterday (180 mile round trip) to do some painting for her as she is getting new siding on her house. Three windows have some areas that were painted prior to this but new window frame parts won't cover all of it. Therefore, it has to be painted, along with a wooden post in middle of front porch. Wanted to save her some money, so said I'd paint for her. Wouldn't be difficult and would take less than a quart of paint. Was up and down a step ladder taping and painting. Total elapsed time less than 4 hrs. Held that little quart can in my left palm while painting with right hand. When I set down the can, could barely rotate my hand back to neutral. Yikes. Took an hour off for lunch, then finished. Tried to set the can down more often this time. Brush hand was cramping off and on, but I could change the way I held it enough to relieve the cramp, sometimes. Another rest period. Then drove back home. Tired. Would do it again if I had to. Come another warmish day, I'll have to go back and take the tape off the glass and take a razor blade to the areas I didn't tape. Halfway thru the taping, I realized that razor-blading is faster than taping. It's been a while since I did any outdoor painting. Slept fairly well that night. 9 days till rheumy appt where I'll find out if I get to take Humira any more.

Doc gave me a prescription for a few pills and I took 1/2 of one last night and it worked as advertised. Slept pretty good so things are looking up. Excellent.

So tough to make a go of it when sleepy. Hope you get continued help from this one. Good luck.

This has been a very hard week hasn't it Rumble? This weather was so bad. My pain has been the worst in a long time. I didn't sleep for 3 nights but last night finally slept really good. I hope you are resting better. So sweet of you to paint for your Mom. Our Moms are no longer here. Now our kids paint for us.
