I've not been on either here or FB for much time since my desktop computer is trying to die. Using iPad now, but typing on it is slower for me. And I've been doing some extra training on my lab job to get competent in hematology so I can help them out till the staffing gets better. For 3 weeks, I've been putting in 48-50 hrs a week. This week will be less since I will be out for a repeat of my RF on SI joint on Friday. Then I have to work Saturday. Next week may need a cut-back of hours to get healed up from procedure.

The trip to see my mom caused me to miss the only day of rest I had for the week. But we had a lot of fun looking at old pictures.

Being strong enough that family doesn't handle you crying isn't good, Joyce. It isn't good for you to have to hold back your emotions to 'protect' your family. Hugs, dear.

Rumble I have been thinking of you and your trip to see your Mom. I am glad you got to go. I love old pictures. I have been getting hints from my kids that we need to be sure names are on all of them but they don't have time to help me and with my hands they may not could read what I write anyway. I can hear them now....Popeye? No, that's Papa. Who was that? Uncle Remus? Finally, oh-h, Uncle Ray. Now which Uncle Ray? It does need to be done.

I get my heating pad today. I broke down and called my brother yesterday and it was ordered while I was on the phone and will be here today. I should have called him as soon as it quit but I tried to find one first. He never minds anything like that. He just is clear across the city. He would ship it to me but we are going down to get it. Hubby needs a CPAP mask anyway.

I cannot tolerate the MSContin. It is now after 5:00 and my 2nd night of being awake all night. That is not a good situation. I am done with it. I have only had it 3 days so it isn't in my system enough to have to take much time weaning. I know there has to be a med that I can take. I need some relief in the worst way. I see the Neuro April 3rd. Everyone committed until after Spring Break. I see the Rheumy Friday. Maybe he will have some ideas.

Kind of a rambling sleep deprived post.
Take care.

Hugs.

I know I shouldn't try to protect my family but I hate to see them worry about me. I have held back the tears so long now I don't know if I even have any. :o) They just can hardly stand to see me in pain so I try to cover it up and keep going. I know that is not smart OR safe to keep going when I can barely go.

Thanks sweet friend.
