If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hey Andrea, awesome to get some feedback !! Much appreciated The rice definitely made me feel more sluggish that evening, and I didn't care for that. Yeah same, makes me sluggish and even my muscles tend to feel a bit weaker - but it goes away. I can't think of any positive reason for me to keep eating the sticky rice except for adding variety. I had hoped it would give me more stamina / long lasting energy via fermentation.. but nope can't say it did that, far from it :-( I wonder if my body just is simply no longer adapted to carb fermentation after all this time on the NSD? Will my body adapt and stop feeling tired if I eat a small amount regularly?. Questions that need answers.

>> Are you going to try it?
I drank about 250ml (roughly 2 standard drinks I think) last night..
Nothing noticeable, except for being dizzy, numb, relaxed and dehydrated hehehe. Ahh well, what could I expect. I'm not in pain anyway due to NSD, however I might hope for some other things to improve, eg. fatigue. But nope can't say anything interesting has changed as yet.

Okay. Might have to retract my comment about the wine. Drinking a bunch of wine right now and it feels great! Had inflammation show up outta nowhere last 2 days in my gut, but the wine is wiping it away miraculously. Cheers to that! (Will see how I feel in the morning!?!)
I'm now a KICK AS (and Kick IBD) success story!! After going low starch Paleo to heal my gut, I can now eat nearly all starches, grains & foods without inflammation, flare-ups, or pain. I used a modified SCD diet approach (minus dairy! plus cacao ♥). Cheers to healing & thriving again! I blog at http://www.forestandfauna.com/about/

Hey BMAN, you are very welcome to send me a private message I will keep the Chardonnay in mind .. And in the cupboard. Perhaps it will help when I slip up on the diet one day. Also maybe I need to dry other brands of Chardonnay ?

Well I am having an interesting reaction... instead of adding wine to my diet, I have just subtracted it several days ago (going on a health kick and wanted to not drink for a month). Guess what? Right hip flare. Bingo. Now limping around the office.
Prior to that, happily quaffing white wine and not limping.
Hmm. Will report further as 'No Fun February' progresses....

Well, my girl has drowned her gut in white chardonnay, 1,5 bottles to be exact. ...no change.

It's interesting and also frustrating, that when I googled 'alcohol and arthritis' all the top links on google said ALCOHOL AND ARTHRITIS DONT MIX! ALCOHOL AND ARTHRITIS: A BAD IDEA!!!
Of course, about 4 paragraphs down in the article, they finally reveal the reason behind the alarmist headline: alcohol doesn't mix with arthritis MEDICATIONS.
Pretty misleading if you ask me.
Especially if drinking alcohol does indeed help with inflammation in autoimmune arthritis. And why assume that everyone is on medication? I'm not. I have been controlling my AS through diet, and (possibly, unintentionally), delicious wine!
