Val, what a lovely post to see. I'm so very glad to know that so much is going your way right now!!
I hear the tenors are amazing, so I know you'll love it. Not getting employment insurance until six months have gone by seems to be the norm. When my job was made redundant, I was told the same thing because our severance is supposed to last that long ('course, not one of the people who come up with these rules has to actually live on less that 6 figures a year). Having your disability approved so fast makes up for that!!!
But your knee is the best news. Well done!!! That's the way to kick AS.

Suffered for years before was diagnosed 9/20/12.
Fibromyalgia and PCOS. Currently on 11 different drugs plus Humira shots. Have started noticable fusing in all parts of my body.

I am sorry to hear that your job was gone. I really should be on here more.
I can't wait to see the Tenors and keeping my fingers crossed that Celtic Thunder will be back in the fall.
Not getting the employment insurance for such a long time was not really worrying me as there was a job waiting for me at one of the call centers here. It was to start in Jan. I was not looking forward to that as well all know sitting down for 8 hours hooked up to a phone is not one of the best jobs for someone with AS.
The knee seems to be getting better and better every day .
