I know there probably aren't many here now who remember me, but I'm the one who designed most of those funny banners you see at the tops of the pages like the one with the dinosaur and such. Anyway, I'm really, really flaring right now. This is the worst it has been in at least six or seven years.
See, my Humira had been causing (or I thought it might be) some weird side effects, and since I had been doing so well for so long, both my Rheumy and I decided for me to stay off it for awhile. That was back in the Spring. Summer was alright and I thought I might be able to stay off the Humira for good. Absolutely not! I called her voicemail literally begging a couple of weeks ago. We had to go through all the re-pre-cert crap with the insurance, but it is supposed to be deliverd today. I really hope so, because I had forgotten how bad this AS #### really is.
Well, just needed to vent and say hi! I guess we never really kick it completely away... just have to keep kicking over and over to keep it at bay!

Funny! I see I'm now a "silver" AS-Kicker. Well, one thing is for sure, my hair is a lot more "silver" now than in that avatar pic! ROTFL at how young and naive I looked!

Well that just stink's doesn't it? This darn beast of a disease. When it decides to progress, it goes for it. You must have had a weather change and that kicked it back into you feeling it. It is a lurker for sure. Keep kicking anyway. I was off of my Remicade for 5 months and Wow! The beast kicked in for sure. I have just a wee bit to go now before my neck is fused.

Yep, the cold (or cool to most folks up north) just arrived, and with it, the old beast returned! I had felt so much better for 90% of the time I was on the Humira that I really did think I was cured... we should know better!
