If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Make sure you eat some fruits/veggies and take a probiotic (good) or eat all natural sauerkraut... all it takes is 1 spoonful a day or every other day for the sauerkraut. All natural... only cabbage, salt and water and must be in a bottle. Real sauerkraut has friendly bacteria.
I have several relatives here that had constipation problems... sauerkraut worked for every one of them.

the fiber works for me, but only if i'm doing all the other stuff too. notice a pattern here good luck to you; hope its easier than that for you to solve. that's mostly why i wrote the last 3 posts this way, because while one thing can work for some people, for some of us, we gotta do a bunch of things. though i'm just glad i found a protocol that works most of the time...... most of the time...... in between flares...... when we flare, its a whole new set of rules.....

((Sue)) You really make me smile. You are right on with your comments. We just have to DO it!!
I take Miralax and Psyllium prescribed by my Gastroenterologist.
Works for me unless I have had to take extra pain meds.

Glad i made you smile Possi You make us smile too This just in: Went to the gastronenterologist today. Conveniently my 6 month appointment was this week so we had lots to talk about. Last week it would have been a boring conversation. Anyway, he was the one who always recommended the Psyllium, and he said that that can give some people gas, especially if they are already having a lot. So he recommended Fiber-con capsules. Its a synthetic polycarbophil (whatever that is). But its supposed to work without the bloating that other fiber can give. I bought it to see if I like it better or not. Besides being in tablet form, it will definitely be more convenient when I'm not home. Still, i might stick with the tried and true Psyllium. He suggested it for my diarrhea, but it says on the packaging that its for constipation. Maybe like psyllium it could be for either. Anyone here ever try Fibercon?

SunSweet has a line of prunes that are orange or lemon infused. They are soft and easy to chew. I like to have 3-4 with my lunch or as a snack. As long as I remember to do it everyday, I don't have any problems. With my UC, constipation has never been a problem until my PM changed my meds from Norco to MSContin.

I second the sunsweet prunes. I like the plain ones. Just like the flavored ones, very soft and good.
are preserved with potassium sorbate for anyone who can't tolerate that. That preservative seems fine for me.
