Just letting you know why I am not here much at the moment. I am really having eye problems from the Lupus acting up. I can't be here but a few moments at a time. If I have missed your birthday or encouraging you, I am sorry. I think of all of you every day and am so thankful for your friendship and encouragement.

Hope to get through this eventually. There is increased pressure, pain, inflammation and muscle problems where my eyelids just clamp shut and no amount of effort will open them. A steroid shot helped a couple of months ago. Guess I need to call the Rheumy again. I am going to the Eye Clinic also. Just been a hard summer. crazy

Blessings All!!

Always good to see you again! smile

Sorry to hear about your eyes hugss

and don't worry about what you can or can not do for people here, everyone understands that sometimes we are the ones giving support and sometimes we are the ones needing the support. Like any relationship, its not always 50:50, but rather sometimes its 70:30 and other times 30:70 or whatever, but always balances itself out over the long haul.

You've always been there for others for so long. Just keep praying for all of us. That's a big help and don't need to be on a computer for that heart

Don't you dare feel bad for "missing a few posts, or birthdays". We ALL know how it is. Sometimes you are too worn down to think about anything else but yourself, sometimes the disease stops you, and sometimes we just need to live a little outside KickAS.

Doesnt mean we dont care or love all you guys anymore smile

Oh it was wonderful! We had a nice shower this a.m. It has been hot today but it is supposed to get better. I hope we get more rain out of it.

Hope you are doing ok.

Hugs.

Thank you Donna.

I dropped in for just a minute earlier; just long enough to answer a post that I saw hasn't been answered. This Lupus flare has been ugly fighting my eyes and my kidneys. Hopefully I am heading toward getting it under control.

How are you? Hope you have had a good day.

Hugs and Blessings.
Joyce

Sue, you are right about the 70/30 thing. Kind of like marriage. We always have felt that it was 100/100. We both just give all we can and it is different at different times. The 70/30 is probably a good thought.

This just has to be the best, most caring group of people that I have ever known. I appreciate your support so much.

Hope you are having a good week Sue.

You are a good friend.
Hugs.
Joyce
