I am so saddened by this news, I will be praying for Michelle. I hope she does not suffer much. She is so sweet and such a warm person.

Diet change has improved my RA. I feel best eating raw veggies and some fruits and avoiding grains, sugars, nightshades, beans and dairy. Sed rate dropped from 65 to 19, but it took over a year.

Michelle,
Hey, great one! Have you lost your accent?
I am longing to hear that again? Come on girl, you can do this.

Suffering is a lonely business:
I think to my self.. why me
I have wondered why not some jerk that is of no darn good..... I think this is my best pastoral thought...
Where is God when I am in pain?... Why does He not do something? ...it seems as though in His good time and in His plan for us, eternity is well worth all the effort to be righteous, and in the blink of an eye, we will be as what He wants us to be. So in this painful, ugly time, draw near to God, He is waiting and He will draw near to You.
Michelle, at time when my prayers are but a whisper, due to pain and frustration; But He does not have a hearing problem; it is just that His answers come to us indifferent ways. think of the pulsing of the ocean, every few seconds and of the waves. God is always there, evenif I do not witness to See him! When I tell him that I am about out of steam, I sometimes think of His power coming back like the beautiful ocean beach.

We love ya girl, get well soon. Right now, in your need of answered prayer; the full message of the Good News, brings the promise of a relationship with our Creator, not just a religion!
I have held on to the this verse for over 50 years....

Phil 3:20...who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

All of us, wether bent by AS, or cancer or soemthign else, can have this promise of a new body! Yea!!!

Thanks for keeping us all updated.. It's so hard to think about someone that was so full of life and living her dreams a short time ago is having such a rough road..

I will keep you both in my thoughts!!

Hi Pea,.. it is frightening to think of what Michelle must be going through after being given such serious results. It sounds like it was good thing they removed those lymph nodes and hopefully further surgery will help her in this long battle.

I'm sure it is a special comfort to her to have your support Pea. I'll be keeping her in my thoughts too and wishing her strength.

Thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. She said reading on here right now is just too much for her right now. She wants to thank everyone individually but she just doesn't have the strength for it right now but she sure does miss the board. Sometimes I will read her some of the funny stuff like our whining post and I read to her what everyone says about her. She is overwhelmed.

Her next cancer surgery is on her birthday on the 29th of this month. What a poo poo caw caw way to spend your birthday! Boy she has really gone through the mill and still has some things she doesn't even know yet what they are. That's later in the week. She has about a gajillion test between now and her surgery. Her husband keeps track of it all because it is too overwhelming. She is still a rock star in my book. Still happy go lucky. She cracks me up all the time. Just a great friend to have. I think the Lord knew we both needed to have a close friend with the same diseases to get us through this rough time and she has been a great friend to me. I will update later this week as she gets all of the info.

The prayers were an awesome idea Possi!

Michelle moved to another one of her houses which she loves the most and had a horrible Fibromyalgia attack. I have never been with someone else who has fibro like me so to talk to her on the phone while she is being hit hard was like talking into a mirror. At one point we just finished each others sentences. It was awful as Fibro is awful. Her husband was on his way home so I got her to go to bed and wait for him before we said goodbye. She just can't get a break. To hear her suffer from A.S. and Fibro alone is hard and then throw in the cancer! Strong women our Michelle.
