will join you all once again after my SI recuperates!

"tweaked" it coming off a stair on friday. chiro said it was "locked up" but he got it moving again, then lots and lots of ice and sitting in the recliner the last few days. at least the recliner is near a window with a nice view of part of our yard, but i miss being up and being active!

that's ok, at least now between the chiro and the flector patch, i'm only down for a few days to a week or so, compared to up to months in the past. would have taken pred if it had been part of an over all flare and it hadn't been so recent since my last pred. thought about taking an aleve, but it really does give me edema and gastritis, even just one pill does to some extent, so decided to just do ice and ultrasound (hubby does that for me at night). still a bit sore, muscles take a while to recover from spasming, but getting there.........

keep on moving! i'll be back joining you soon! cheerleader

Isn't it irritating how just a little tweak can do that?! mad
It's no wonder that people with arthritis get the the point where they/we are afraid to move any more than necessary. cry
But yep, we gotta keep getting back on that horse every time it bucks us off. yes

The canyon (American Fork) I ran in last Saturday is now closed. The fire is not in the canyon, but is burning up next to the canyon. Some of our freinnds that live a couple of miles west of the canyon were evacuated. The house was not in danger, but a lot of smoke. Today's run 5.11 miles in 48:54 minutes.

Wow, good running! cheerleader

I grew up in central California, so fires - even the faint threat of a fire - freaks me out. no

walked ~25 min, ~1 mile.

first time in about a week. SI still felt a bit wobbly so no hills or anything, and slow going, but yay! so good to go for a walk again. and did it at dusk, so perfect temperature: not too hot, not too cold smile

and another reason to keep walking:
