If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I needed to relax and meditate so that I could concentrate on my spelling the next I came here. 1000 metres swimming. The pool was rather cold when the sun hid behind the clouds today. I shall take my wetsuit with me next time Gadzooks, for a second, thought I caught you there with "metres" ! But then realized you use a more colourful form of Olde English than we Americans! Ah, I never tyre of this place!!

Catching up on the posts here. You'all make me want to do flip turns. (in the pool) Have been sick for a week with Bronchitis but still managed 3 mile walk Thursday and 1/2 mile on treadmill yesterday. Getting better!

Let's see... This weekend I cleaned house and prunned grape vines with my siters. Because of the cleaning and pruning and weather change it's 1:20pm and I'm still in bed. My wrists and neck are not amused, but it was fun to be useful! Friday I swam 1,150 yds. Yesterday I swam 1/2 mile. (1/2 mile sounds so much better than "I couldn't make myself swim the extra 3 laps") Go TEAM!

Saturday's run (I wish I would have went skiing with my son) I ran 8.04 miles in 1 hour 20 minutes. I did make the first 6 miles in 57 minutes, but then slowed down significantly. This has been a great winter for running, the weather is perfect.

ah, that's a flippin' good video! gotta try the noodle practice tip to see if it helps me do it better, because yes I am guilty of using my arms in the water to help me spin. Today the pool was crowded and the only lane available was one that has steps in the shallow end. Did I attempt to do a flip turn in like 1 foot of water anyway you ask? Result= bonk!!
