If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I see some of you avoid milk products, why don't you just eat lactose free products?

for me, its not the lactose that is the problem. for me, i have a food sensitivity to dairy (as determined by blood work), the casein (protein) in the dairy for sure, and maybe other components.....nothing to do with lactose intolerance. the theory is "inflammation in the gut", specifically the illeum (as determined by colonoscopy) and lack of lactobacilli (as determined by stool sample testing) leads to "leaky gut" leads to food antigens crossing the intestinal blood barrier. and the food antigens that my body responds to by producing antigens toward and supposedly inflammation is dairy and eggs. so i avoid both.
not sure how long it will take to notice an effect. on the other hand, it can be tricky. as the response to these "allergens" is not necessarily immediate. so i didn't even realize i had these food sensitivities until i had the blood work done.
combining this diet and probiotics, hoping to fix this problem.

I noticed I have a better tolerance for lactose free milk. Too much milk or ice cream gives me puffy hands and feet. Very slight reaction with the lactose free.
Now where is the lactose free ice cream?

That's where an ice cream maker comes in handy... Haven't used mine this year as not been hot enough to drag it out from whereever... <LOL>

Yea Molly lol I've got one too.
Just a comment on lactose free.. you could always get the lactase drops and treat regular milk or take lactase. If I remember right lactose free is ultra pasturized and has a ridiculous shelf life and is it more expensive than regular?
And to answer the original question.. I take enzymes to help digest most aspects of dairy however after a dose of antibiotics I have now grown sensitive to dairy even with enzymes. After reading about candida diet I realized that anything that grows mold in the body is a problem and I wonder if this is what dairy does?

Needs researching - IF affirmative then...? As for the antibiotics, was reading just yesterday that very aspect of antibiotics upsetting enzymes/gut bacteria. If I can locate the article again then will post it here if I find.

Breyers makes a lactose free Vanilla Ice Cream. Good stuff and is tested safe with the iodine
