Oh, Lonnie, what a night! Dear god, my friend, you should write a book of your tales. The way you describe your escapades is marvellous. I could picture that scene so clearly you had me laughing out loud at my desk!

Love and hugs,

Kat

Donna,
That is not camping!
You did not mention the dirt or grime or deb-re falling in to the food.
You did make me smile!

Sue,
"water, water, every where but nery a drop to drink!"

memories come to us and can change our direction and remind us we enjoy from the past.
Thanks,

Rumble,
We r still teasing each other about the event.

It is such a break from the routine.
Amazing how a fire can draw us into a sense of well being..
DH continues to be in my prayers!

Kat,
If I had not been so afraid of falling down, I would have laughed myself. I did once I got warm in the truck....
Sometimes I think I should just sit down and never move again. But life seems to draw me to circumstances that I should avoid, but I am tricked in to reaction!

Thanks,
agape'

Hey Lon,

I love camping the way you camp. That is, you doing the camping and me reading about it. I'm pretty sure that laughing son would have gotten a little wetter and a little warmer if it were me. LOL. Glad to hear you were up to it.

Bro' Lon, have you forgotten?

From time to time the climate changes in our neighborhood!

My Dad (may he rest in peace), who grew up in Sheridan, taught me young to always over prepare for going into the backcountry, so I can't match this one!

I've watched Fourth of July fireworks over Lake Dillon, Colorado, (elevation 9800 feet) in a snowstorm of big, fluffy, heavy, wet flakes, with lightning to accent the pyrotechnics, but I had a big heavy jacket.

I was wearing shorts, though, and my legs got a little blue...

Hmm, "Shivers While Camping"...

Do you think they'd let you register that name in Lodgegrass? Maybe "Trembling Bear"...
