If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Facinating Craig - here's the one for France: 52 pathologies with the rankings for hospitals and clinics given throughout Fr. (My *bible!) http://hopitaux.lepoint.fr/ONLY way to find the best is to reference. Can also compare within the two groups - hoping that next (year?) they might compare betwixt/between the two, across the board... Takes a wee while to get used to searching out,, but my goodness, is very well worth while - and very thoroughly done (even hospitals and clinics refer to their 'standard/classified' achievement!!)

Thanks for this info Craig. It is interesting to see how these hospital line up in the various fields that ASers require.

I guess as important as the facility and its "ranking" is the Doctor. I walked out of New York's Hospital for Special Surgery disappointed by the unwillingness and pessimism of two different doctors concerning my future years ago.
I found a Doc at little renowned Lennox Hill Hospital who was the best thing to restore my life and do a THR when seemingly no other Doc would. They gave me my life back almost 30 years ago.
Diane worked at Hackensack whcih was on the list and based on the way they treated their own employees I wouldn't bring the family pet there.
She trained at St Barnabas and it was a solid facility. Never thought it a top ranked sorta facility.
I guess the hospital is as good as the particualr individual within it giving you care.

I can attest sharing a similar experience. The doctor at University of Michigan Spine Center told me I had lumbar sprain. Sent me for physical therapy. Any benefit was very limited (however the therapist was very cute). The doctor who pieced it all together was one at stand alone (back then at least) St. Joe's(?) down the road in Ypsilanti. He did X-Rays, blood test for HLA-B27, really took into consideration my IBD. A real investigator.
Kind Regards, Jay

Which doctor did you see there? Did you like him or her?

Jay,
I was very unimpressed with my experience at UM's rheumatology department as well. It was years and years ago, but the thing I remember most is that the doctor I saw told me there was NO back operation for people with AS who experienced severe kyphosis. Later, after I had found a spine surgeon at another local hospital who would later go on to do my very successful spinal osteotomy, I asked the doctor why he told me that. His response? "Well, I'm sure I said that WE don't do that any surgery here, not that there was NO surgery." Uh no, that's not what you said at all, you said there was NO surgery. That was my last visit to UM for my arthritis, although the care I received at their Kellogg Eye Center for my iritis was exceptional.
