Hi Rumble, I have been wondering if people can respond to one class of biologics better than another too. The whole mab/cept thing.

Will be curious (and hopeful!) to hear of your results with enbrel.

I've never heard of a multi-dose vial before... hmm... I had a self-mix single dose vial that was 25mg/ml and I did that twice a week (normal recommended dosage for those ones), and then later went to a prefilled syringe that was 50mg/ml and once a week (that's the one that was like injecting with a fork - not very sharp). I found that both worked the same for me, so I stuck with the fork. Later on, when it started to wear off (about year 2), I went with double dose 50s and it worked for awhile, until it just had no effectiveness anymore - at about 3 years later (I think). It just totally stopped working at all. Very strange, because it worked so well for me initially - like night and day. I was literally running again, so I hope you are too, soon enough.

The only one left I can try (that I have coverage for) is remicade, so I might be following your footsteps, now that it seems that Simponi isn't doing anything for me.

But good luck, good luck, good luck!!!! Go enbrel!!! Took 2 weeks for it begin to start working for me, a month for it to hit full swing.

2 Weeks?? Wow!!! It would be like steroids, well, just a little slower than steroids. 2 weeks is awesome. A month would be heaven, almost.

Hope the Remicade works for you. Maybe we aren't meant to have success on the 1st try?

I'll start another thread, I suppose.
