Hi Steve..and thank you for your advise....after reading your post ..I called the Opto and asked if they would please see me today....so the good new...YES..they are going to squeeze me in between appointments this morning at 11:30...so I feel very happy about that...I am in a terrible flare..the worst I can remember....so pretty hard to think this is not related  ..but I will soon find out!...thanks again... HI Rose.. Thanks for asking about Becca's jaw.....she is doing better...but like the hip pain she was having..this jaw thing came out of no where....she was just trying to sing...and said "mommy ..something is wrong with my jaw"....then through the night each time she would try to talk...her jaw would pop....so I took her to the docs....but like I suspected..she will not refer Becca to a Rhuemy...all xrays fine..blood work fine except the HLA test that was + so...now I have made an appointment with her dentist...maybe "again" there is no AS relation and she might need braces to align the jaw...I'm not sure what is going on...but she is better....eating normal again..but always able to pop her jaw...  ....I can't get in until Monday to the dentist..so will post the news when I get more information..thanks!... Hi Cheryl... Thanks for all your tips..it has prepared me for my eye appointment today....I also wanted to talk to you about my doc appointment yesterday..I would have given anything for you to have been there with me... I had never seen him before....and he went through my chart...asked me what "preventative medicine are you taking?" ..I said..." what do you mean?...he said..well it's my experience that if you take this medicine....it's called "Effexor" he said, you might be able to eliminate all of your symptoms...I said...that' interesting..because I belong to a website...and I here the difficulty AS has on many people and they would be surprised to find one little pill will cure them  ..he said..that is why these websites are so dangerous  ...I though...boy would I love Cheryl to be here with me right now....  .....he said this drug somehow blocks pain to the nerves..elevating seratonin and causing the body to go back in balance ...causing fatigue to leave..the onset of PMS to vanish....and the pains illiminated in the body that cannot be found in bloodwork or xrays.....says he has had great success with it...have you heard of this..and what do you think about it if you have?.....I will let you know what transpires at the eye doc today....and thanks again for talking with me and calming me down  .... Hi Deb, Glad you like your decal. I think if anyone wants to kick around MrsKickAS, that they're gonna have to get past Mr.KickAS first !! And not only is he a pretty fair sized guy....He's got a gun!!!  As for that word..... It must be somethin' about my upbringin'.... We never was allowed to use them 4 letter words around our house. Especially that "F" word... But I'll keep workin' on it... We have 4 squads at work, and 3 of them are Fo.....Fo........those things you drive. Guess you can figure which one my shift has....Yep, its a GMC  Hope your eyes are feelin' better... I'll keep workin on that word... Might need some therapy or something... Keep Kickin'AS Chris
