My son's cat, Nero, brought a mouse into the house. It was squeaking and bleeding. We kept yelling at Nero to go back outside, but he just went further into the house, running under the twins' bed. Nero and his catch were soon back outside, but it was a very exciting few minutes.

Oh, Lisa, what a sweet story; too bad it couldn't end like Charlotte's Web.

My 18yo was nice enough to wrap the meeces in some toilet paper before leaving them for me to lay them to rest.

Now I'm off to bed.

We have 3 cats and we live out in the country. The cats love to play with the mice, if any get into the house, but they never kill them. They just chase them and then let them go. It's a game to them. My hubby usually will grab the mouse by the tail and toss them back out in the yard.

We had one Siamese who loved to leave dead jack rabbits on our door mat. We did not appreciate it. He felt it was the ultimate expression of his love.

What a wonderful thread - yes, literally, full of 'wonder'. Critters. Vile cat (who was in fact much loved) was a terrific huntress. Rabbits through the cat fap, one for me, one for dogette and one for herself, hers of course would have been viscerated and the 'remains' left for...dogette (or whichever of us wanted to 'fight' over the remains!! <LOL> She even brought in a weasel, broke its back but not endedd its ife. Was hrrible as I had to dispatch this screaming heap of agony... Another one was the rime she left a mole, mouldering in the corner, nearly inaccessible. Ohhhh yeeerrrr. Quelle horrific. Yes, Miaouzelle was a monstre, pas imcomparable!

(Stinko eyes, sorry guys, but again, typoes an all. Sigh.)
