Erika, I am so so sorry. I wish I could find some way to bring you comfort but I know at this time all I can do is pray that you and your family fince peace and that you are surrounded by your family and friends. My deepest condolences ... hug

Erika,

I just now saw this..I am so sorry!

I know nothing I can say will comfort you, but just know that you and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Please come back when you can, and feel like it.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hi Everyone,

For the last two days I have been swimming. Each day I swam 1,000 yds in about an hour. It is not easy to swim and cry, and I hate that I have to exercise in order to function right now, but it is getting me out into the world. This is a good thing. Thank you for your well wishes. Our boys have arrived from Denver and England. Our girl is coming from Norway on Thursday. Two of my sisters have been here since Sunday, and my nieces and all of my great-nieces and great-nephews are arriving on Thursday and Friday. Our friends have held us up completely since Sunday when we were notified. Love, Erica

Second physio session. Great. Good set of exercises included Pilates ball, we'll do more 'ball' work next Wednesday.

PT said NOT to do the Mackenzie chin down to chest nor chin raised exercises for those (spondys and others with cervical issues) as could cause problems and damage. The chin down and turning neck and chin up and turning neck will push the cervicals out of place and will also cause connective/fibrous tissue damage.

OK to do sit tall, chin straight, turn head one way and then the other way. That was a good exercise, though all the 'therapies' have that one and it is not 'just' Mackenzie.

Had a very interestng chat with him after our 30 mins session.

Came back and walked round market for 30 mins - Wed is market day. Did a small shop. Had a good chat with the English couple who run am excellent wee stall, told em about Trudi's stinging nettle and herb input. Were most interested. (They are going to dig up nettles to grow in pots - away from animal contamination). Are also, Yea, going to get for me *fresh tumeric root - will have to come from London! The *fresh tumeric (curcurmin) is terrif.

Have a good painfree day everyone - well, as painfree as poss!

Erica,
Your words have encouraged me to believe that you have a warm and loving family. We cannot take back yesterday and guilt should only serve to cause us to make appropriate decisions. I hope at this time your family loves and encourages each other. The most ragic events often cause me to be stronger and know that there is much more to this life than what appears on the suface. Erica, we love you. We know we would have loved you daughter if we had known her.
I pray the hope that passes all understanding will comfort you as you sort out your thoughs and decide how to deal with each thought and feeling. from a distance, we are huggin you and your loved ones.

Your friend,
Lon

Yesterday I ran outside for 2.5 miles, then got on the elliptical for another mile. Last night they said the January thaw is over. It is snowing now.

Erica, you are still in my thoughts and prayers. I don't really know what to say. It is good to have your family around. Live to honor your daughter.
