Intresting thread!

I learn so much reading everybodys answers..
I have also been thinking about the "protein powders"

Im sure you all know what you are talking about so dont get me wrong here..i agree.. but im thinking of ordering some whey protein (without artificial sweeternes)because in my case im training very much sometimes two times a day.. and ive noticed that im in a very catabolic fase.. the disease itself and the medicin is told to destroy the protein synthese in the body.. and im thinking im doing my body an unfavor not taking any powders.. because im eating and eating clean and proteinrich food.. but its not enough without the carbs.. so i think a powder could help sometimes (if the body can take it ok).. my point is - sometimes it can help the body even if it has bad effects to.. im doing my body a favor taking it! a little bit like taking any medicin even if it has side effects! What do you all say about my theory??
im also wondering if it can be a good thing taking some carbs under the training.. and be NSD all other time.. thougts about that? smile have a good day everybody!

Yes, you can still have carbs on the NSD...this is not the Atkins Diet. You can still have sugars....just not starchy carbs. SOME people need to also eliminate or restrict sugar on NSD but most are OK with it, it seems.

So safe fruit like green grapes are a good place to start. My hubby eats probably a KG or two of these every week.

Ok, but does it matter "when" i put in the carbs(even if they are "bad" carbs.. i mean simply.. if i drink a protein drink with some carbs under the training session.. does that do the same "damage" as i would eat the carbs when chilling in front of the tv.. because under the training my body will use the carbs.. any thougts about this? Sorry for being "offtopic"!
