Hi Chelsea,
I hope you and your family is doing okay since the quake down there in New Zealand. I hope our other KA members from the area are doing okay too.

HLA-B27+, JRA diagnosis in 1981, re-diagnosed as AS in 1988. Also iritis, colitis, and psoriasis. NSD + low carb helps me. My health makes it hard for me to post in a timely way.

Hi James, so kind of you to think of the kiwi's. I guess that most likely Chelsea would be fine as she is in Auckland like me, which is far from where the quake was. But ofcourse as NZ is a small place it is quite possible that she may have family and friends from the area. I have not logged onto Kickas for many months and after you mentioned Chelsea I looked her up and I was overjoyed to see she had a baby recently. My laptop screen was smashed by my 3year old, so I miss being able to log onto KA and see how everyone is.

I'm all good too. I'm in the north island. I thought I felt an earthquake this morning and then just read online that there was a 5.2 quake not too far from where I live.

Wow, Jroc - is that a different quake that happened at the same time?

There have been a couple of earthquakes now in areas away from the big one. I was talking to family in Christchurch today when another aftershock hit. These are continuing to be pretty strong... in the last 24 hrs there have been more than 30, ranging from 3.1 to 5.4. Sounds like the continuing activity is starting to take a toll, especially with people having trouble getting sleep.

A couple of interesting sites:
