Oh Lisa, I just saw this now. Poor little guy. Tell him his Aunty in Toronto has broken both feet before: once while swimming (yes...swimming :/) and the other just by standing up (really...all I did was stand up from the couch smirk2). His break sounds far more spectacular than either of mine and I'm really proud of him for holding up so well.

Swimming casts are awesome and I'm so glad they put him in one. This way, he can keep exercising and the muscles in his calf won't atrophy as badly. I wasn't casted for either of my breaks (should have been for the second one, idiots) but my sweetie had a swimming cast after he tore his Achilles Tendon a few years ago. It helped a great deal.

Is he on crutches or walking? I had to be non-weight-bearing for almost a month after my second foot break. Once he's feeling up to it, get him a little napsack so he can carry things with him if he changes rooms. That way, he'll have both hands free for the crutches!

My best to him and I'm cheering him on.

And what do you MEAN Tori is driving now!!! Good grief! These things shouldn't happen so quickly, darnit! wink

Warm hugs,

Kat
