Well this is actually one thing I have NOT had in the 19 years dealing with this thank goodness BUT that sure doesn't mean that it isn't a symptom of AS. It does sound like other here have had some issues with it and what I'm hearing is high inflammation can cause this.

I hope that you can get this figured out, sounds like it would be awful to try and deal with.
